Paul  A. Taillefer  B.A., M.D.,C.S.P.Q. (opht), F.R.S.C., (C)
Dr. Taillefer holds a degree in Ophthalmology both from the Province of Quebec (C.S.P.Q.) and the Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S. (C)). He founded the Department of Ophthalmology at Fleury Hospital, at St-Michel Hospital and Jeanne-Mance Hospital in Montreal and at Sept-Îles Hospital. Dr. Taillefer is credited for bringing the first Ophthalmologist services to the North-Shore of the Province of Québec.

Outside of the medical field, Dr. Taillefer continues to succeed in real estate ventures and is currently President and CEO of three real estate companies, Kazuko ltée, Gestion P. A. Taillefer & Fils Inc. and Les immeubles LTJ Inc.  The companies are presently promoters of two housing projects and of a golf course in the Lanaudière region of Québec.

Dr. Taillefer’s investment ensured the continuation of the company through its business development stage. In addition to his financial support, Dr. Taillefer contributed a significant portion of his time and energy, applying his exacting efforts. In July 2009, He became the President and CEO of AQUAGOLD Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of AQUAGOLD International and was directly responsible for the production of the flagship product that was delivered to China under contract. His efforts met all the terms of the irrevocable letter of credit where as the company received payment in full 90 days after the shipping was complete.  Dr. Taillefer’s leadership has been successfully demonstrated by the completion of the first sales cycle. Dr. Taillefer is now leading this new growth stage as a fully operational company.

Mr. Tang maintains strong relations with the Chinese government and corporate sectors and has over 25 years of business experience in investment and real estate projects in China. He is the foundation of Aquagold’s development in China and lives in Shanghai. Mr. Tang is concurrently the GM of United World Chinese Assoc., Ltd. and World China Business Investment Fund.

Mr. Tang has been responsible for bringing his contacts within the government and commercial sectors to bear directly, and in significant ways, on the business of the Company in Asia. His strong relationship with the CICCC provided the Company with a national TV venue through which to establish its brand by exposing the Company to an expected weekly audience of 20 million Chinese via the new TV show entitled “Aquagold Superface 2009 Model Contest” (direct translation).

Mr. Tang is also responsible for securing both contracts that the Company has entered into; one each in the on-trade and off-trade segments of the market. He negotiated and arranged for payment to be made under irrevocable letters of credit for both agreements, an extremely unusual, secure arrangement for a company the size of Aquagold, and in the product category of its industry.

Joshua D. Brinen is the principal of the firm. Mr. Brinen is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, in the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey and in the United States Tax Court. Mr. Brinen earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 2000 and earned his JD from New York Law School in 1997. He is a graduate of Bucknell University where he earned his BSBA in Accounting in 1994. He is also active in the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar.
